Although he wasn’t the overall chip leader for the day, full attention was given to Phil Ivey, who had a great start to the Aussie Millions Main Event by accumulating 184,000 chips. That’s enough to put him in fourth overall for the day and sixth overall when combining the first three Day 1 heats. Ivey got most of his chips after flopping a flush versus a set of aces. After dodging the full house draw, Ivey would double up to put himself on the leader board.
